You know what they say, first impressions count! Not only is having a good logo design very important for your business, it is also pertinent to your company’s branding, or services offered. It really befuddles me how many business owners and self-starters don’t get this concept. A good example of this is seen in the image here (to the left) of two logo comparisons. As you can see, the remake design is by far the better choice.

However, you would be shocked to know, the owner didn’t care to jump. To give you a quick story behind this, a friend of mine asked me to mock up his friend’s hair salon logo in vector, because she needed it for printing purposes, and only had a rasterized jpg version of her logo. The original (as you can see in the sample), was really sore to my eyes. Also note, that I changed the name slightly, as to protect the privacy of this individual, and in the process actually made the original one better, if that's possible. Anyway, after I mocked up the original into vector, I began to play around with several alternate designs, and out of all of them, my friend, who did the original hiring, absolutely loved the remake of the new one. I even took a poll on social media, and everyone agreed. But when my friend sent off the design samples, she never responded. He gave her several weeks, and then finally sent me an email, apologizing for her lack of response, and asked me to just invoice him for the original remake.

I don’t care how much business you already have, your logo design speaks volumes. It tells the viewers and by-passers that you care about your business/services. Honestly, I used to think having a bad logo was better than not having a logo at all. But in this particular case, I would almost do without the darn logo. Sometimes, it’s best just to have your business name in nice text, than to have a bad object or symbol to go with it. This is just my opinion, of course.

So if you’re one of those out there that either doesn’t have a logo at all, or has a really bad one, please hire a professional to design you a good logo. You deserve showing up at your best.

Below are some of my logo designs I have done in the past. Please note, these are all fictitious logos/names. So in the event one of these designs grabs you, and you'd like it as your own, you may purchase either a non-exclusive (smaller fee, but allowed to resale) or you may also request an exclusive (full price for design and includes full copyrights, where all appearances of the product design is removed from resale). And for a small fee, I can customize the logo to match your business name.

I also do custom logo design on the side, so please feel free to contact me for further details. I tend to work best in the genre's you see in the samples below (but not limited to): spa logo, chakra logo, coffee logo, wine logo, salon logo, preschool logo, energy healing logo, cupcake logo, pastry logo, and new age logo designs. In addition to these logo designs, I have created matching flyer designs for most of these you see here. These flyer designs are pre-formatted and fully customizable, along with the logo designs, of course.
